What We Believe

The Bible is very clear as to man's standing before God.  Irrespective of the person and their status in the eyes of mankind, from the oldest to the youngest, from the richest to the poorest, it says:

“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
(Romans 3:23)

Some people believe that life is for living because once it's gone it's gone and the human body is buried and forgotten.  The Bible shows the truth about death:

“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.”
(Hebrews 9:27)

What is to be expected at the judgement? Again the Bible is clear as to what we should expect.

“For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
(Romans 6:23)

What have we done, or what can we do in order to deserve the gift of God? Nothing at all; nothing we do can make us worthy of the gift of God. Eternal life can only be obtained through Jesus Christ, for:

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save Sinners …”
(1 Timothy 1:15).

What can we do to get the salvation that Christ came to obtain? Again the Bible is quite clear about this, it does not require riches or difficult acts, simply:

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.”
(Acts 16:31)
