We have taken the opportunity whilst our regular activities are suspended to make some changes to the building. Some of these changes are in relation to making our building Covid secure. We have installed automatic soap and hand sanitiser dispensers as well as hand driers in the toilets.
You may have noticed building works happening at the rear of the building- we are improving our disabled access and compliance by providing another ramp from the rear fire exit.
Inside we have installed a bigger, purpose-built kitchen and updated café area so when restrictions are lifted we can continue offering our free Coffee Morning as well as regular meals.
We have also invested in improving our ability to digitally connect those in our fellowship who are shielding or isolating and our wider community. We have installed wifi and other equipment to enable us to ensure those in fellowship can access the Zoom meetings even if they have no wifi at home. It also enables us to stream meetings and we are excited to announce that our first one will be our Community Carol Service on Christmas Eve at 5pm.
